It is a privilege to be the Principal of Beamont Collegiate Academy. I am very proud of the improvements we have made as a school over the last few years and of the fantastic achievements of our pupils.
As an Academy our vision is to provide every pupil with the skills to become independent learners so they are equipped to seize the full range of opportunities that the world in the 21^st century will provide and to inspire all pupils to progress on to good employment, further and higher education.
We believe that delivering an exciting and challenging curriculum, delivered by a highly motivated and committed staff, is essential so that all pupils are inspired and excited by learning, to have high aspirations and to take responsibility for their own futures.
As a fully inclusive Academy we intend to offer a more personalised curriculum which recognises the range of pupils’ abilities, aptitudes and interests. Also, supported by the college, we will be able to offer pupils enhanced vocational qualifications and a wider choice of subjects, as well as the core curriculum of mathematics, English and science.
We will also provide all our pupils with the highest quality of effective personal and academic support throughout their time at the Academy and, we will continue to work closely with parents and carers as partners in their children’s learning.
So, without doubt, this is exciting time for Beamont Collegiate Academy and I have no doubt that as an Academy, sponsored by an excellent educational institution such as Warrington Collegiate, also in the heart of our community, and with whom we have a proven track record of effective collaboration, we will continue to raise standards and improve the life chances of our pupils.
